It’ s time to learn a little more about the people here at Thill Logistics. The idea is based on the websiteFormspring and the classic Bernard Pivot questionnaire, just imagine that I am holding my blue index cards and asking the questions in a soothing James Liptonesque tone. The format is simple, five questions. The first 4 will stay constant, (3 work related questions and 1 from Pivot) but the 5thquestion… that is up to you! Please comment and send in questions here on the Thill Blog, or send them to me via Formspring to carrieatthill.
Here are my five questions for Richard Wollangk
What is your role at Thill Logistics? I am the Manager of Operations for the Moser Street location.
How did you get into your field? After more than 30 years experience in the management field with the previous 10 working in government, I wanted to get back into the private sector and Tom Wollangk called me with a job opening at the Moser Street facility. I jumped at the chance to learn a new field other than the office and accounting fields that I previously had been working in and have enjoyed every minute of it.
What is your favorite thing about your field? The wide variety of activities that I am involved in here at Moser Street.
(Bernard Pivot) What is your favorite word? Do-it (probably not really a word)
(Formspring) Tell me something people wouldn’t expect about you? That I look way too young to be a new Grandpa! (ha! ha!)
